Ideas take hold.
Products set sail.

Octowind is a small crew of adventurous developers. We build our own products — tools we want to use ourselves — and send them out into open water.

On the water.

Every product we launch is its own vessel, with its own flag, its own captain and its own course. Some are sailing. Some are still in the shipyard.

Our charts.

Not rules. Just the course we keep.

  1. 01

    Ship small, ship often.

A dinghy in the water beats a galleon on paper. We launch early, listen hard and keep adjusting the sails.

  2. 02

    Build what we’d use.

Every product starts with a problem one of us actually has. If we wouldn’t sail it, we don’t sell it.

  3. 03

    Calm seas are made.

No crunch, no heroics, no 2 a.m. deploys. Steady work, clear writing and time to think.

  4. 04

    Every vessel has a captain.

One person owns each product end to end — the code, the customers and the course.

  5. 05

    Leave the harbour better.

We write things down, share what we learn and open-source the tools we build along the way.

  6. 06

    Sail for the long haul.

We’d rather keep a product afloat for ten years than chase a quick exit.

Who’s aboard.

We’re developers who got tired of building other people’s roadmaps. So we started a shipyard: a place to make the tools we wish existed, take them seriously, and keep them afloat for the long haul.

We like small teams, sharp tools, honest writing and weekends off. If that sounds like your kind of boat, say hello.
